How to build your own smoothie


Making smoothies of your own can be very easy when you know what are the basic ingredients. Get experimental and create interesting combinations you’ve never tried before.

 We will be going through some basic steps you need to take to build a smoothie. You can use this plan to build any type of smoothie with different ingredients of your choice. The steps include picking fruits, base and add-ins.

Pick your fruits 

Bananas, apples, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, oranges, pineapple, mango, peaches, grapefruit, watermelon, kiwi, cherries, pears, apricots, grapes, melon, cantaloupe, plum.

Add a base

Water, almond milk, 100% juice, low fat milk, coconut milk, coconut water, low fat yogurt.


Peanut butter, Nut butter, flax seeds, chia seeds, walnuts, almonds, oatmeal, vanilla extract, honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger.
