Best Diets For Weightloss

So we have already went through intermittent fasting which is by the way one of the best options out there for weightloss. If you want to dive deeper into this topic check out this post here. But for now lets focus on all the other options that are best for losing weight and maintaining your health.

1. Intermittent fasting.
Intermittent fasting basically refers to short periods of time when you won’t eat at all or you eat small amounts of food. This could mean you don’t eat anything every other day or you might only eat up to 500 calories every other day. There are many different ways to do intermittent fasting. Find out more in the blog post I linked above. It has also been found to be a better way to lose weight than calorie restriction while preserving muscle.

With this diet plan you are free to eat whatever you’d like!

2. Plant based diet. This option still leaves a lot of room to pick foods that won’t help you with weightloss but in general if you focus on whole foods and non-processed foods you are doing well. I myself went on a fruit fast as I call it for about a month and lost about 5 kg.And even better if you keep your healthy lifestyle you should be able to maintain that weight. otherwise you’ll quickly gain the weight back.

Try these meals:

Chia seed pudding with strawberries and fruits for breakfast.
Cauliflower rice with lentil curry sauce for lunch.
Yummy salad or fruit bowl for dinner. (Check out different salad ideas here)

3. The Paleo diet. This is not as hard as you think. I’ve been Paleo now quit a while and it is definitely working. Many people imagine bread is healthy but I must say I disagree. Check out Dr. William Davis to know more about this stuff but for now changing into paleo for the rest of your life is one of the best ways you can start losing weight. And in case you are afraid of never being able to eat bread or have granola you are wring again. there are breads that literally taste like normal bread. I’m also constantly eating granola that I so much love and it’s paleo! Once I heard you can’t possibly go on a paleo diet cause fibre is so important for your health…well that is just an illusion because it doesn’t take many fruits to reach your daily fiber intake.

Try these meals:

Raw yogurt with raw honey and paleo granola for breakfast.
Smashed potatoes with meatballs for lunch.
Large chicken salad for dinner.
(all of these are my favorite things to eat! )

4. Last but not least we have a low-carb diet. If you choose to go on a Paleo diet you are already doing well since you got rid of bread. My husband likes the low-carb diet and many times he focuses in eating meat with vegetables or salad. He does that while doing intermittent fasting meaning he eats once a day.

Try these meals:

Eggs with spinach, tomatoes and avocado for breakfast.
Stake with vegetables for lunch.
Big salad with avocado, tuna, salmon, chicken etc for dinner.

About Me:

Welcome to my blog! I write about healthy diets, weightloss and money tips. I have struggled for years to lose weight and tried many different diets. When I finally decided to focus more on my health than just wanting to lose weight I started losing weight naturally. It was a full lifestyle change. One key point through this transformation was basically going on a paleo diet. You might want to check out Dr. William Davis.

As a person who moved to a different country I know how hard it can be to get a decent job. I wanted to include different money tricks and tips on my blog to help people who have ended up in similar situations.

I write two blogs and you can check out my other website at castleandbeauty.com .
