1500 Calorie Meal Plan

For many people 2000 calories is to maintain weight and they need 1500 calories to lose weight. We are focusing on meals of 500 calories each that will give you the 1500 calories you need for the day. This is a good meal plan for anyone wishing to lose weight and try some simple recipes. These are very easy meals that anyone can make. You don’t have to be a master chef.

Cooking your own meals is healthier and it can also be fun. I hope this meal plan will help you get started with your weight loss journey and get you more into cooking your own meals at home. It definitely doesn’t have to be hard.

Depending  on your height and weight you might need less or more calories than 1500 while losing weight. I for example need only 1300 calories if I want to lose weight.

500 Calorie Meals

Breakfast: Strawberries and scrambled eggs

This breakfast is about 500 calories. If you feel too full after the eggs have your strawberries later. You’ll need 5 eggs, salt, black pepper and olive oil for the pan. Have one packet (about 240g ) of strawberries.

Lunch: 3 Stuffed Zucchini Boats

From three halves you’ll get about 540 calories. Preheat oven to 175 C. Cut your 4 zucchinis in half and scoop out some of the pulp. Cook 400g mince with one chopped onion and small sweet red pepper. After the meat is no longer pink add 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 1/2 cup bulgur, 1/4 tsp pepper and zucchini pulp. Bring to a boil and after this let it simmer until bulgur is tender. Add about 1/2 cup salsa and fill the zucchini boats. Put them in the oven covered and wait 20 minutes. Add some shredded cheese on top to finish the dish.

Dinner: Roasted chicken with veggies

Add into a baking tray your veggies: 6 diced red potatoes and 1 chopped onion that have been marinated in 2 tbsp olive oil, 3 minced garlic cloves, 3/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp rosemary, 1/2 tsp pepper. Then add your chicken breasts that you marinated in 1/2 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp rosemary, 1/4 salt, 1/4 pepper.

Roast 40 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 C. Then remove the chicken and add 5 cups of spinach on the veggies. Roast this another 8 minutes and serve with chicken. One chicken breast and a cup of veggies is about 400 calories.

About Me:

Welcome to my blog! I write about healthy diets, weightloss and money tips. I have struggled for years to lose weight and tried many different diets. When I finally decided to focus more on my health than just wanting to lose weight I started losing weight naturally. It was a full lifestyle change. One key point through this transformation was basically going on a paleo diet. You might want to check out Dr. William Davis.

As a person who moved to a different country I know how hard it can be to get a decent job. I wanted to include different money tricks and tips on my blog to help people who have ended up in similar situations.

I write two blogs and you can check out my other website at castleandbeauty.com .
